Shehenaz Shaik is a doctoral candidate with Computer Science and Software Engineering Department of Samuel Ginn College of Engineering at Auburn University, Auburn, AL. She holds Bachelors in Computer Science and Engineering from India, and Masters in Computer Science from University of North Texas, Denton, TX. In industry, she has worked as Infrastructure Solutions Architect with Authentica, TCS, and EMC over a period of 12 years and has gained experience in development of enterprise storage, virtualization and cloud infrastructure solutions for large scale data center deployments. During this period, she has written several white papers, solution guides, and validation reports. Her work was showcased at several industry conferences such as (DELL) EMC World, VMware World, TCS Tactics, CRA-W forum, Auburn Univ. Research Symposium, etc. Her current interests are Management of Data from Internet of Things, Service Management in Fog Computing, and Collaborative edge solutions.
