Without Bluetooth and Bluetooth Low Energy in play, the idea of a future where people can experience seamless IoT engagement falls apart. But the truth of the matter is, along with Bluetooth, connectivity technologies such as NFC and WiFi will also be essential. After all, while it’s true that Bluetooth is superior for certain use cases, an honest conversation about the future of connectivity to support the emerging IoT, and increasingly sophisticated device interaction in the very near future, wouldn’t be possible without acknowledging the importance of all relevant connectivity technologies.
